The good news is that the New York Giants are 3-1 and travel to London for their Week 5 game against the Green Bay Packers.

However, it is not yet certain whether quarterback Daniel Jones can join them after suffering a sprained ankle.

Jones injured his ankle in their Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears when his left foot got stuck under Jaquan Brisker after a sack in the third quarter.

Still, the Giants won that game against the Bears, 20-12.

Patricia Traina, editor and writer of GiantsCountry.com, has an update on Jones.

Traina tweeted: “Daniel Jones will have practice reps today so they can see where he is. That’s why I think they are slow to sign a QB. Tyrod Taylor still in protocol. I’d be surprised if he cleared it in time, but you never know.

The Giants are hoping Jones is good enough to play and help them claim their fourth win in five games.

His numbers may pale in comparison to his contemporaries, but he does enough to help the Giants win.

In four games, Jones has 67 completions for 631 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

He hasn’t had a 200-yard passing game yet, but he’s making up for those yards with his feet.

The former Duke standout has 31 carries for 193 yards and two touchdowns in four games.

Aside from Jones, Tyrod Taylor is the only quarterback on the Giants’ active roster.

However, he suffered a concussion during the Bears game, prompting Jones to return.

Davis Webb will likely be lifted from his practice squad if Jones can’t play on Sunday.

Although Webb did not throw a pass in an NFL game, he was with Daboll during his time as the Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator.
